Hevan’s Inn is a small, family-run building of service apartments on a quiet street in Nalvar Nagar, at the very foothills of Maruthamalai. Bharathiar University is next door, Vadavalli’s markets are down the road, and the hill temple of Lord Murugan rises just behind.
We built it for the guests Kovai welcomes every day: pilgrims, families here for treatment, parents settling children into college, and professionals on long projects. Each apartment has its own kitchen, proper beds and the quiet that hotels can’t promise.

In Sangam poetry, Tamil land is read as landscapes, or thinai. We named our apartments after the two that surround Maruthamalai.
Kurinji is the mountain landscape of Sangam poetry, the land of Murugan and of the hills you'll wake up to.

Every apartment has a kitchen with a stove, fridge, cookware and crockery. Vadavalli's markets are about ten minutes away for groceries.
As required in India, every adult guest needs a valid government photo ID (Aadhaar, passport, driving licence or voter ID). Foreign nationals need their passport and visa.
Yes, there is secure parking inside the compound. Tell us if you're arriving with more than one vehicle.
Cabs and autos are easy to find. Allow about 35 minutes from Coimbatore Junction and about 55 minutes from the airport. Search “Nalvar Nagar, Kalveerampalayam” and we'll guide you the last few turns.
